NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Clearwater Town Board will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on September 9, 2025, at the Clearwater Town Hall, 15015 State Highway 24, Clearwater Township, Minnesota 55302, to consider the alteration of the intersection of 155th Street and Grover Avenue by realigning both roads and acquiring new right of way described as follows:
An easement for public right of way purposes across the following described property:
That part of the North Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 13, Township 122, Range 27, Wright County, Minnesota lying east of the easterly right of way line as described in Description 14 and Description 8 of the Clearwater Town Road Map, recorded as Document Number 383083 and lying westerly of a line which lies 33.00 feet easterly of, and parallel with, the following described centerline:
Commencing at the northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 13; thence on a assumed bearing of South 88 degrees 47 minutes 32 seconds East along the north line of said Northwest Quarter, a distance of 2511.12 feet to a point distant 142.84 feet west of the northeast corner of said Northwest Quarter; thence southeasterly along a tangential curve concave to the southwest having a radius of 143.40 feet and a central angle of 89 degree 46 minutes 27 seconds, a distance of 224.69 feet; thence South 0 degrees 58 minutes 55 seconds West tangent to said curve, a distance of 1247.61 feet; thence South 0 degrees 04 minutes 51 seconds West, a distance of 1180.60 feet; thence southeasterly along a tangential curve concave to the northeast having a radius of 132.36 feet and a central angle of 89 degrees 10 minutes 47 seconds, a distance of 206.02 feet; thence South 89 degrees 05 minutes 56 seconds East tangent to said curve, a distance of 1066.60 feet; thence southeasterly along a tangential curve concave to the southwest having a radius of 333.92 feet and a central angle of 48 degrees 16 minutes 49 seconds, a distance of 281.38 feet; thence South 40 degrees 49 minutes 08 seconds East tangent to said curve, a distance of 76.37 feet; thence southerly along a tangential curve concave to the southwest having a radius of 183.94 feet and a central angle of 55 degrees 04 minutes 15 seconds, a distance of 176.80 feet; thence South 14 degrees 15 minutes 07 seconds West tangent to said curve, a distance of 412.46 feet to a point hereinafter referred to as Point A; thence South 11 degrees 45 minutes 22 seconds West, a distance of 445.53 feet; thence South 13 degrees 56 minutes 02 seconds West, a distance of 1574.40 feet to a point on the south line of said Southeast Quarter distant 982.73 feet east of the southwest corner of said Southeast Quarter; thence returning North 13 degrees 56 minutes 02 seconds East, a distance of 1429.51 feet to the point of beginning of the centerline being described; thence northeasterly along a tangential curve concave to the southeast having a radius of 1900.00 feet and a central angle of 25 degrees 01 minute 39 seconds and said centerline there terminating.
The sideline of said area shall be prolonged or shortened to terminate at the easterly right of way line as described in said Descriptions 8 and 14 of the Clearwater Township Road Map.
Said area containing 19,142 square feet, more or less.
All interested persons are invited to appear at the hearing and be heard on the proposed road alteration/acquisition.
